We conducted a Nutrition Training Program for Mothers on March 19, 2025, at Aailadi Buhari Preschool to educate parents on child nutrition, healthy eating habits, and sustainable food practices. Led by Mr. M.C. Marzook (BSc), an Agriculture Education Instructor from Kinniya, the session emphasized the importance of organic food, balanced diets, and home gardening. A total of 41 participants (17 males and 24 females) actively engaged in discussions and expressed interest in further training. As part of the initiative, agricultural tools and seeds were provided to establish school gardens, promoting practical learning. Rev. Fr. Dr.B.Paul Robinson, Director, who participated in the event, highlighted the importance of child nutrition, personality development, and the role of parents in guiding their children’s growth. Key recommendations included establishing school gardens, conducting hands-on meal planning sessions, and providing continuous support. The training was well-received, and EHED Caritas plans to organize follow-up activities to ensure sustainable nutrition practices among families.
