We had a monitoring visit by the national Centre staff on 2nd of July 2025 to 4th of July 2025. In the first day of the session was held at the conference hall, EHED Caritas, Trincomalee. During the meeting, project coordinator, agronomist, field officers and finance manager presented the project activities through PowerPoint presentation. Following that, we moved to the field visit to Kinniya to see the project villages, include; Pond Fish Farmers’ Society at Kurangu Panchan Pond, project beneficiary from the Majeeth Nagar GN Division, and home visits in Majeeth Nagar, meeting beneficiaries and observing the progress of home gardening and poultry rearing activities supported under the project. In the 2nd day of the field visit, we visited a project beneficiary from Aailadi GN Division, preschool parents in Pakkiran Vettai, students and members of the society at T/Wan Ela Buhari Muslim Vidyalayam, conducted home garden visits to beneficiary households in Aailadi GN Division, DC Level Knowledge Centre in Trincomalee, home gardens in Selvanayagapuram, and Held a stakeholder meeting in Muththu Nagar. On the 3rd day, we had a debriefing meeting at the conference hall, EHED Caritas, Trincomalee. During the meeting, we discussed the evaluation of the monitoring visit, additional comments, and upcoming activities and the reporting format with the National Centre staff.
