We conducted an awareness program on human rights and citizenship for the youth on August 19th 2025 at the conference hall, EHED Caritas, Trincomalee. Our resource person Mr.C.Chandrakumar (LLB), discussed the following topics with the participants: an introduction to fundamental rights, human rights, ways to respect these rights, maintaining self-dignity, cultural differences within the community, and the effects of drugs and narcotic use. He engaged the youth through group work, individual presentations and experience sharing. The participants actively took part in the session and gained an awareness of human rights and citizenship.
